The process for accessing disability services typically involves several key steps to ensure that individuals receive the appropriate care and support tailored to their needs. Two Summers Operations Manager will call you to discuss what services you are seeking, organise a meet and greet, and request reports from other members of your team.

At Two Summers, we offer flexible service options to accommodate your needs, whether you prefer in-home care or SIL services. We provide a range of services directly in your home, including personal care, medical assistance, community participation, and daily living help. In-home care allows you to receive support in a familiar and comfortable environment, tailored to your specific needs and routines.

At Two Summers, we are committed to providing prompt and effective responses to emergencies and changes in care needs. In the event of an emergency, our trained staff are equipped to take immediate action, following established protocols to ensure the safety and well-being of the client. We offer 24-hour support to address urgent situations at any time. Our team is on call and prepared to manage emergencies swiftly. If there are changes in health status or care requirements, we promptly review and adjust the care plan to address these new needs.

Our policies are designed to protect sensitive information and ensure that personal data is handled with the highest level of security and respect. We safeguard all personal and medical information shared with us. This includes details about health conditions, care plans, and any other private data. All client information is stored securely, both digitally and physically, with access restricted to authorised personnel only.

The timeline for getting started with supports at Two Summers can vary depending on several factors, including the complexity of your needs, the availability of services, and the completion of necessary assessments. Once you contact us, we typically respond within 1-2 business days to discuss your needs and provide initial information about our services. A meet and greet will be scheduled within the week and we can generally commence supports 1-2 weeks after initial contact.
